I hope people remember that I was very caring and offered help and guidance whenever I could. I also hope people remember that I was a good listener and that I really tried to talk less and listen more.
My advice for underclassmen is don’t try to please people by changing who you are. Be you and understand that not everyone’s gonna like you. Remember this, you can be the nicest person in the world and still be the villain in someone’s story.
During my time at Prairie Ridge I learned how to be a better friend, brother, and student because of everyone I met. Whether it was my peers, teachers, or the preschoolers in Preschool Lab. I figured out who I want to be as a person. (And take Preschool Lab, it’s awesome.)
I will miss going on side quests with my friends. And the football games. Everyone should go to as many football games as you can because once it’s over, you’ll miss them.
Next year I’ll be a Spartan at University of Dubuque.
