At PR I was involved in Football, Wrestling, Track, Lacrosse, NHS, SNHS, Media Club, Hopes In, Veterans Support Club, Model UN, and Pack Leaders. I’m proud of all the things I was able to do. I feel like I took as much advantage as possible of all the opportunities offered to me.
My advice for underclassmen is to get involved, take the classes you love, and use your time here to experiment and figure out what your interests are.
My favorite class was Mr. Senese’s AP Environmental Science. It was the most personally interesting class I took here and is incredibly relevant to current events and global issues. Mr. Senese’s teaching style is awesome and I appreciate his incorporation of interesting documentaries and activities to keep the class engaged. His genuine demeanor and long-winded stories are also refreshing during stressful days.
My time at PR taught me you can accomplish anything with enough effort and consistency. There is no wall that can’t be climbed without persistence.
I hope to be remembered as someone that was helpful. I think helping others is the most noble and important thing you can do with your life.
Next year I’ll be studying political science and economics while participating in ROTC at UW-Madison hoping to commission as an officer in the United States Army upon my graduation.
