I was involved in cross country and track for sports and loved both of them. As for clubs I was involved in NHS, Pack leaders, and Veteran Support club. I am most proud of my involvement in cross country and track. I have put a lot of effort into both of those teams all four years of high school. I am proud that I hopefully am a part of a team that can leave an impact on the younger athletes.
I will miss my friends a lot from high school. Getting to come to school and going to class with my friends I have known my whole life was pretty fun.
I found it important to just go to things. Going to football games or basketball games are a lot of fun and a good way to spend time with people from school and meet new people.
My favorite teacher was Mr. Boldwyn because he made class very fun and exciting and even encouraged students to get involved with things out of school. I have raced Mr. Boldwyn in numerous turkey trots and have a lot of fun doing it.
My time at PR taught me a lot about how to be more independent. Once you get to high school you have to balance a lot more responsibilities and that is something I will carry with me. I also learned a lot more about the importance of surrounding yourself with good and hardworking people.
I hope to be remembered as a well rounded student athlete and a leader. I would like to be remembered as a student who teachers enjoyed having in class, as well as someone who is easily coachable.
Next year I’ll be attending Marquette University for an exercise physiology undergraduate degree. My hopes for next year are to continue the work I have put in the past four years of high school. I plan to use the education I have had at PR to use in my coming years of college.
