I will definitely miss the community we have built around PR, a community that could always rely on each other for help and support each other with anything and everything.
I was the Interact Club President and in National Honors Society, Track and Field, Tennis, Class Officers, Pack Leaders, French Club, Student Council. I’m most proud of how involved I was during my time at PR and staying dedicated to sports and clubs and putting time into volunteering with Interact.
One of the biggest things I learned about myself during my time at PR is how much I value giving back. Volunteering with Interact showed me how much I enjoy helping others and being someone people can rely on. It made me appreciate the people around me and those are lessons I’ll carry with me into the future.
My favorite teacher was Mr. Zier because he never failed to make us laugh with his constant jokes. He made class way more fun and definitely something to look forward to.
My best advice for underclassmen is to get involved as much as possible and enjoy every small moment. Being able to balance everything allowed me to meet new people, make memories, and be part of something bigger than just classes.
I hope to be remembered as someone who always showed up and gave their best, whether it was in sports, clubs, or just being there for people. I want people to remember me as someone who was genuine and made a positive impact, even in small ways.
Next year I’ll be a freshman studying at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I’m excited to meet new people, explore different perspectives, and challenge myself. I additionally can’t wait for football games and the energy that comes with it.
