Morgan Maglente was nominated by faculty as a senior to know among the 2021 graduates.

Last year I learned the importance of taking a break for myself. For years I was always on the go and never really took time for myself to breathe, but the pandemic gave me time to heal and take care of myself. COVID also gave me incredibly valuable time with my family and I am so grateful for it.

I hope to be remembered as a kind person who is always willing to lend a helping hand and as a hardworking student who never gives up.

I will miss all of the people I met throughout high school, especially the teachers and staff. My favorite thing to do is run around the school to meet up with my favorite teachers. I am incredibly grateful to have formed close relationships with my teachers and mentors — some of whom I feel comfortable enough to call friends.

I am most proud of the connections I made at PR, such genuine and memorable relationships with my peers all the way up to retired teachers. The relationships I formed at PR are ones that I intend to maintain throughout my life.

Next year I will be attending Saint Louis University and I am beyond excited to meet new people, explore the city, learn more about physical therapy, and join the dance team!
