The thing that I will miss most about high school will be dancing and singing in the musicals.

Since freshman year the musical has been the best part of my school year. When you are a part of musicals here at PR, you have an automatic family and feel so much love and support from the cast, crew, and orchestra. Being a part of musical has given me some of my closest friends and best memories of high school. It has also shown me that I love performing and has encouraged me to continue being a part of musicals in the future.

I am most proud of going to state with the dance team my freshman year. We spent hours and hours working so hard, and never thought that our dream of making it to state would become a reality, but it did because we gave it our all every time we performed. The smiles on our faces when we heard our names being called and the pure joy I felt walking out onto that stage at state is like something I never experienced before. In that moment all the times I didn’t want to go to practice or was so tired from running the dance a million times didn’t matter because it was all worth it.
