I was the girl who was involved in golf and scholastic bowl and once came to school twisting balloon animals. I would love to be remembered for never being afraid to share your passions or talents with others, even if it seems embarrassing or intimidating at first.

I’m definitely most proud of the creative writing poetry slam. Performing on stage was one of the most empowering experiences in my lifetime, and winning the event was the cherry on top!

I’m definitely going to miss the teachers. I have some teachers who have made a real difference in my life, and I definitely took their compassion and support for granted before having to learn from home and not seeing them every day.

I am so excited to be a Fighting Illini! I am looking forward to a bit of a fresh start, and a chance to completely be myself, after spending my high school years figuring out my identity.
