Morgan: Good morning, Wolves! Congratulations to our Scholastic Bowl team who won a Regional Championship last night vs. Belvidere High School. This is the first Regional title for the team since 2005. Congratulations to seniors: Adler Bacon, Eli Liegel, Elliott Lowe, Addi Smith, Pranaav Sureshkumar, Charlie Wacaser, and Flynn Wolff. The team advances to the Sectional Tournament on Saturday!
Matthew: From Interact Club: We have only 3 more days for our hygiene drive. Bring in items to your first hour class so we can help the community and beat Central. The class that collects the most wins a donut party!
Matthew: Seniors, need money? Mrs. Rocks in the College & Career Center is hosting drop-in support ALL DAY TOMORROW 3/11 to help you complete scholarship applications. Several applications are due SOON.
Morgan: Thursday, March 12 is a busy day for PR activities. Join us at 7 am in the library for Women’s History Month trivia hosted by Latino Leadership. In the afternoon, the French Club is making macarons after school in the Culinary Room from 3-4pm.
Matthew: Don’t miss the CLASS of 2026 One Day Musical The Little Mermaid on Saturday, March 14 at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:15 PM for first-come, first-serve seating. Come see the cast perform after their one and only 12 hour rehearsal!
Morgan: Speaking of live theater, do you enjoy drama… romance… awkward proposals… and the occasional devastating social insult? Then come audition this Thursday for our upcoming production of Pride and Prejudice! All you need is a 1–2 minute monologue. Sign up for a time slot on the sheet outside the choir room.
Matthew: Or get involved behind the scenes! We need tech crew, designers, and creative minds too! Come to our first company meeting after school Monday, March 16 at 3:00 in the theater. Don’t let your pride stop you… and definitely don’t let your prejudice keep you away. Come be part of the show!
Morgan: Have a great rest of your week, Wolves!
