Matthew: Good morning, Wolves! Here is your Wolf Prints update:
Henry Pracht qualified to the Swimming State Series in the 50 Free at the Sectional Meet! He finished 6th in the event with a time of 21.45, which is the Team Record and school record. He also broke the 100 free school record with his lead-off swim on the 400 Free Relay.
Gannon: Congratulations to Nora Terhaar, who took 3rd in all-around at the IHSA Gymnastics State Meet and was named Northwest Herald’s Athlete of the Week.
Matthew: PR’s Club America is sponsoring a food drive through this Friday, March, 6th. Donation boxes are near the main office and athletic entrance and will go to the Spring Grove Food Pantry and Northern Illinois Helping Hands Food Pantry.
Gannon: Sophomores and Juniors – looking for a summer job? Come to the D155 Summer Job and Internship Fair next Monday, March 9th 1st and 2nd hour, where the Crystal Lake South gym will be filled with local businesses hiring in all types of jobs such as food service, health care, youth sports and manufacturing. Permission slips are in the College and Career Center and due tomorrow, March 4!
Matthew: Here’s another field trip! Sophomores and Juniors: Spots are filling up fast for the UIC Campus Tour on Weds March 18. Come learn about University of Illinois Chicago programs and get a tour of the campus in Chicago. This is a great chance to check out what an urban campus is like. Permission slips are in the College and Career Center and due Friday March 13.
Gannon: Spring sports have officially started as of yesterday. Good luck to the boys track team in their triangular meet this Saturday at Crystal Lake Central at 9 AM.
Matthew: Opening weekend of the musical was a huge success, and there are three shows left: Friday night at 7pm and Saturday at 1 & 6 PM. Students, check your email for the free ticket through Ludus! Tickets are limited, so act fast to reserve your seat!
