What I will miss most about high school is just simply seeing all of the people that I grew up with. Going into my senior year I realized that I will most likely not see a lot of the same faces that I grew up with as they are moving onto bigger and better things.
My favorite class was DC Speech because it allowed me to open up more and get over my fear of public speaking. I believe taking this class is essential in becoming not only a better public speaker but also a better person overall. Taking this class allowed me to listen to my peers’ opinions without judgement and to see others’ viewpoints.
My advice for underclassmen would have to be getting involved and enjoying every moment. You only get four short years of high school, and they will truly be some of the best times of your life. So don’t miss out on the meaningful memories you will create here!
