I remember reading the senior edition of the newspaper when I was a freshman and thinking that it would be an eternity until I could ever think about graduation. There is an old cliché that time flies, but time is actually more like a rocket ship zooming by at a million miles per hour. Before you know it you’re staring at your diploma and thinking “where the heck did this come from?”
I could give you advice that you already know, and tell you to grab life by the horns, take risks, be involved, do homework, comb your hair, and brush your teeth.
I could also brag about my accomplishments listing my involvement in sports, clubs, volunteering and whatnot. But that’s lame- why would I want to do that?
My four years at Prairie Ridge have been incredible and this school does a fantastic job preparing you for the rest of your life. Sure, there are plenty of days (mostly during the winter) when you roll out of bed and would rather die than drag yourself to school, but everyone has these days.
The faculty and staff are amazing and will gladly go out of their way to help you; I attribute everything I’ve accomplished to them. I am so happy that I have gone to this school, and I will always remember Prairie Ridge. (Maybe because I live right next to it, but hey, what are you gonna do?)
