Once upon a time there lived a Mikey and a Jack who loved Christmas movies and decided to make a list for all the good boys and girls (in no particular order!).

Christmas Vacation-  National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is about the Griswald family, and their Christmas obsessed dad(Chevy Chase). Throughout the movie you watch the Griswald family gradually grow sick of each other, providing a lot of funny moments that are definitely worth your time.

Four Christmases– This movie displays the struggle of having to go to Four Christmases. In this hilarious comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon as boyfriend and girlfriend, they have to go to four separate Christmases because each of their parents are divorced. Tension grows as they go to each house making it harder to stay together. In the end, they find themselves accepting new ideas into their lives that they had never accepted before.

Charlie Brown Christmas– If you’re looking for a simpler, more relaxed Christmas movie, Charlie Brown’s gotcha covered. In this animated classic Charlie Brown questions what Christmas is all about, and eventually learns with the help of his friends. The movie ends in an iconic scene where the gang is brought around a sad, decrepit Christmas tree, and they dress it up to

Santa Claus 1, 2 + 3- This collection is about Santa (Tim Allen) who is divorced and has a son. He wasn’t Santa at first, but, he became Santa after the real Santa fell off his roof. In this collection it shows the new Santa beginning to like Christmas and his fight to stay Santa.

Frosty the Snowman Frosty the Snowman has been considered a staple in Christmas traditions for years. It depicts a bunch of kids who just can’t wait to get started on their long Christmas break, but on the first snow of the winter, something magical happens and well, we think you know what comes next.

Elf- This majestic movie will keep you on your toes until the very end. With Buddy (Will Ferrell)-the main character- as an elf who was never an actual elf, but merely a misplaced human. Buddy lives in an orphanage as a baby but was soon taken in by SANTA. As he grew up in the North Pole he began to be a cotton head-nene-muggins and left. As the movie goes, he meets his dad and begins to stay with him and his family. In the end he helps Santa but still stays with his daddy.

Christmas with the Kranks- This is a movie about parents, Luther (Tim Allen) and Nora Krank ( Jamie Lee Curtis), whose daughter will not be home for Christmas. When it actually sets in that their daughter won’t be home for Christmas they decide to skip Christmas. This means: NO Christmas party and “Hello” Cruise Ship. This all ends when their daughter’s plans change and they have to scrape a party together.

Jingle all the Way Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is the dad in this outrageously funny film. This dad waits until the last minute to buy his son THE Christmas present of the year: A Turbo Man Action Doll. During this movie he races around Minneapolis trying to find this action doll while fighting other people like Myron Larabee (Sinbad). Then, in an attempt to find the action doll he becomes the Turbo Man in a parade. While in the parade, he fights Myron who puts on the archnemesis suit of Turbo Man and they duke it out for the action doll.

Rudolf the Rednose ReindeerRudolf the Rednose Reindeer is more than just a fun song you hear on the radio, it’s a pleasant claymation film about a reindeer who doesn’t fit in due to his red nose. The movie provides a relatable story for a lot of kids, and overall just warms your heart.

Home AloneIn the Christmas classic, Home Alone, 8-year old Kevin has been left alone for the holidays, while his parents are out on their fancy vacation. While Kevin is expecting a relaxing break at home by himself, he is greeted by some burglars, and so he must protect himself, and his property.
