I was a three sport athlete for 2 years at PR. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball. Once it came down to my junior year I had to pick one of the three that I wanted to truly focus on. Which was volleyball.
Ms. Hartman has always been there for me and never once stopped believing in me. She is the nicest person ever and cares so much for everyone. She is such an inspiring person to be around and i’m grateful enough to have grow up around her light!
Take your time at PR, but realize that grades do NOT define you. Kids will stress so much about a grade when it doesn’t define them as a person. Yes being studious is a good thing but not to the point where your eye bags are bigger than your grade.
I hope people will remember me as the kind of person to be inviting and able to be yourself around. I want to also be remembered by kindness, because being kind could change the first impressions that everyone thinks. Being kind is being remembered.
The years at PR went by faster than I want to admit. But I’ve learned to take the time I have with people, school, and life in general more generously. And to stay true to yourself in the process. Not everyone has to approve of you but what you choose to be beyond the judgment is your true self.
