I was involved in theater, poetry club, speech team, marching band, and art club. I held leadership positions in speech team as a co-captain and marching band as a section leader.
Don’t be afraid to reach out. Students and teachers alike will help you, you just have to make a move. There are friends for you here, you just have to find them, and they have to find you.
I think the biggest thing I am leaving high school with is that there will always be that one person who you can’t appease. Focus on the people around you who don’t expect you to appease them. Those are the ones who will stick around.
