I am most proud of my ability to make connections with people. I’ve always been outgoing, but high school tested my comfort zone. Even so, high school is all about branching out and being friends with people you never would have thought you would talk to.
I will miss the precious friendships I made. They made my classes bearable with our countless giggles and inside jokes. I know these friends will be with me for the rest of my life. True friendships are priceless.
Dunker is one of the best teachers a student at PR could have. Not only is she an empathetic and compassionate person, but she truly cares for each one of her students. I’ve had her for two years of high school, and I honestly wish that I could have gotten longer with her. You will always have fun in her class whether that be one of her silly games or just listening to her talk.
I hope I am remembered as a kind and accepting person. I strive to be a welcoming person that people can talk to about anything. There is so much hatred in the world, and I hope I was able to bring positivity to Prairie Ridge.
Next year I hope to continue to step outside of my comfort zone. I will be in a big new city with a whole new group of people. It will be scary, but I know that I can overcome anything. Hopefully, I can broaden my horizon, meet brand new people, and experience new things.
