Sajiv Shah was nominated by a faculty member as a class of 2021 senior to know.

Something I will miss about high school, that I don’t think I will get anywhere else again, is the halls. It is such a wonderful thing to start a conversation with an acquaintance who’s walking the same way as you and finish it as friends 9 separate times a day between classes. Saying “Hi” and waving to friends is an important but overlooked part of every day and I’m glad we’ve been able to recapture that in these last couple months.

I don’t know how exactly I pulled it off, but it seems that I have marketed myself pretty well over the last few years into someone who is at least well-known and hopefully also well-liked. Being nominated as a “senior to know” kind of epitomizes that and is something I am extremely proud of.

First and foremost, I hope to be remembered at all. I would be honored if my name was brought up by Prairie Ridge teachers or students even a few times a year, and even more honored if they spoke about me as a hard-worker and as someone who will go on to make our Prairie Ridge family proud.
