Last year taught me that we took so much for granted. We expected things just because they were promised to us and other people got them and nothing felt like it could be taken away.

I want to be remembered as someone who always worked hard and supported others. I want to be someone with integrity and honesty that people could trust.

I am looking forward to being more independent in college and exploring all of the opportunities at UAH. I can meet so many new people and take lots of interesting engineering classes.
