Gillian Llanes
a class of 2021 senior to know
This last year was difficult for everyone. It really taught me how to be patient with myself and others and how every little gesture counts. Not being able to see friends or family but still being able to call them on the phone or send letters through the mail— those things really helped me to feel more connected to those I couldn’t see.
What I am most proud of from my time at PR was just being able to build a connection with all of my teachers. Every one knows each other, and it is just amazing to have other people you can relate to and be able to go to them for anything that you need.
I hope to be remembered as someone who was always there for others and was able to cheer up anyone who needed it. Even the smallest things can make the biggest impacts, and to me it would be amazing if just a little gesture made someone’s day.
I am most looking forward to being on my own and having that independent college experience. I’m excited to meet new people and go to a brand new school. I hope that I can learn more about myself and use my time to do the things I like.
