Emily Brehm
a class of 2021 senior to know
I will definitely miss the people the most. This year especially, I am even more grateful for the time that I am spending with everyone. I eat lunch in the band hallway with a bunch of goofy band friends, and it is easily my favorite part of the day. I have also done my best to have better relationships with my teachers – and I recently became very sad because I realized that, soon, I won’t be here to say “Good Morning” to Mrs. Penn anymore! I’ll have to see if I can come back and visit for “college discussion” purposes…
Next year, I hope to join UW-Eau Claire’s women’s club ice hockey team as well as the dance group “Two to Tango,” where I will learn popular dances. I recently got accepted into the Blugold Marching Band (the second-largest college marching band in the United States), so the thing that I am most looking forward to is joining my marching section, which is made up of sixty trombone players.
My final mark on Prairie Ridge is the fine arts mural I am helping to paint in the band and choir hallway, where I will proudly stamp my handprint up with the other seniors’ handprints. My favorite people at PR have usually been in the fine arts department, and I hope that the future people in the fine arts department appreciate this year’s senior mural.
