Mrs. Roberts: she was the first face I met here and was who made my day everyday throughout my freshman year. She was absolutely legendary and the best teacher I’ve ever met, can’t wait for her book/memoir to come out, “Sh*t I can’t make up”. Mr. Cummins and Shutt are amazing teachers and are 100% secret agents /power-rangers undercover. Mr. Low is great with computers and can get you anything you need. All 4 of the wood’s teachers were good, but they’d be better if they stuck around each year 😉 . Literally all of the history/social sciences teachers… they are everything you could want from a teacher and their department could conquer the world if they wanted to. -Alex (Xan) Gordon

Mrs. Stantesly-the sweetest woman alive, she has made such an impact on so many students and I will never forget her. Mrs Blumlein-another one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, she was always the best person to go to when I just needed to talk to someone. – Amaya Enriquez

Mr. Terhaar because he is a great lecturer and makes sometimes boring content fun to learn. He comes up with inventive ways to teach content and also throws great Progressive Era parties. Mrs. Buck because while she is a great teacher, she’s also very fun to be around and joke with. She was definitely a bright spot in my day. – Anna Jacoby
German class and Engineering class. I really enjoyed the fun experience, being noticed as a young adult rather than a rambunctious teenager, letting the idea that mistakes are welcome really make me feel welcome to all ideas. – Anthony Quindel

Terhaar, if you are at all interested in history, TAKE APUSH. This class is so fun, and Mr.Terhaar is one of the best teachers. Mr. Dusenske is a great counselor and has done so much for me, and I know so many other students. THANK YOU MR.D!!! Mrs. Bluemlein is so understanding and such a great teacher, she really puts in an effort to get to know all of her students. – Eilie Riemenschneider

One of my favorite classes was AP Human Geography. I took it because my middle school teacher told us, as eighth graders, not to take AP classes in our freshman year and I didn’t want to listen… I was nervous about the workload, but it ended up being my favorite class (second only to art) because it was so fascinating and I still think about a lot of the things I learned in that class when I am out and about. – Emily Brehm

My favorite teachers are Herr Higgins, Mrs. Palese, Mr. Stastny, Mr. Wadlington, Mr. Pellikan, Mrs. Hartnett, and Mrs. Bland. Herr Higgins is hilarious, positive, motivated, passionate about his job, and super supportive of his students. Mrs. Palese is super energetic, motivated, always positive, super friendly, and very passionate about teaching others. Mr. Stastny is energetic, but also very chill, funny, relatable, approachable, and super nice. Mr. Wadlington is hilarious, friendly, enthusiastic, caring, and very inspirational. Mr. Pellikan is super energetic, funny, approachable, super friendly, and very passionate about his job. Mrs. Hartnett is caring, funny, kind, approachable, and truly passionate about AP Literature. Mrs. Bland is super friendly, helpful, approachable, energetic, and always has a positive attitude. Every one of these teachers has made an impact on my life and truly mean a lot to me. – Francesca Pollock
Some of my favorite teachers are: Mrs. Buck, Srta. Groat, and Mr.Janshego. Throughout my four years in high school, I could always count on them to help me in anything I needed. They were the nicest teachers and were always checking up on their students. Some of my favorite classes are : AP Psych, Best Sellers, and US History. Before I took these classes, it always scared me but once I finished the year, I learned so much about people, history and I started reading more. Mr. Terhaar/APUSH – Super friendly and a great teacher, makes history interesting! Also very supportive and always there for you. Mr. Wadlington/Psychology – Also very friendly and super chill, great teacher, fun classes.Mr. Jensen/Choir – Super fun to make music with your friends and sound amazing! Mr. Jensen is an amazing teacher as well. AP Music Theory – Hard, but very fun! Mr. Jensen teaches it well. Mrs. Orsi/Calc – Amazing math teacher, very nice, will help whenever you need it. – Hazel Kocher

Mrs. Brockland and Chemistry. She is the reason I’m choosing chemistry as my major. Not only does she push students to be their best, but she listens and makes us laugh when we have our lowest days. PR truly is a better place with her in it. – Kaitlyn Walls
Calc 3 with Ms. Orsi because it was so unique and challenging, and all my engineering classes because I got to create and solve the hardest problems. Getting to create a real world product to solve a problem was so helpful. Also Mrs. Brockland for making AP chem so fun and really preparing me for my AP exam and every AP class I took afterwards. – Kate Lanza

My favorite teachers and classes were always my history classes(and mr. Senese). But if I could recommend any class to an underclassmen it would be AP Human Geo because it made English, science, and history classes so much easier but also gave me a deeper understanding. Plus! All my history teachers love their jobs and what they teach (or at least they acted like it!) and it made the content that much interesting, plus the APUSH competitions were just fun. – Maddie Flint
Mrs Senese, my physics teacher. She was my favorite teacher at PR, she constantly pushed me to do better and took the time to get to know me. She even supported me outside of the classroom by coming to my dance shows! She taught me how to be a better student and a better person – Mara Garbanzos

Both Mrs. Dunker and Mr. Terhaar made learning history fun. They are both very good teachers and very passionate about the subject they teach, and they do it in such a way that makes learning history not only fun, but entertaining. I knew I was a history buff before, but they opened my eyes to a whole new realm of history, and I can tell the whole class was interested in every lesson. – Nathan Jankowski

Terhaar and APUSH because we got to learn so much about the world and why things are the way they are. Terhaar was great because he encouraged each of us to think differently and he prepared us for holding ourselves accountable. Mrs. Dunker and AP Euro because Euro opened so many doors for me and the way that Mrs. Dunker challenged me shaped me into the person that I’ve become. I wouldn’t have understood grit and kindness the way I do without her. Mrs. Buck. Need I say more? She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and I am so grateful to have had her as a teacher. What we learned in class was not only math but how to make ourselves better people and engage with our communities. Mr. Petersen. This year was such an insane time and Petersen never failed to make everyone smile and he pushed all of us to work hard while having a good time. – Paloma Gasparov
