This is how I see it. The BLM protesters were treated unfairly at the Capitol building, compared to the trump rioters on the 6th of January 2021, because the BLM protesters were protesting peacefully and were killed, injured, and mistreated my officers/ swats team etc. While the trump rioters broke things, were violent, and were treated as if what they did was acceptable. In my opinion the BLM protesters were fighting for something that has been going on for years and it was very important, also they were protesting peacefully, and the trump rioters were fighting for something which I do not think was important at all, it was not even worth fighting for. This is a huge topic spreading all over the world, because it needs to be heard and changes need to be made. I feel this way because God whom made us, is in control of us, he has all power, and he has the world in his hands. Who are whites to say ¨I am better than blacks¨, ¨I own blacks¨, ¨blacks should not be allowed to do this or should not have the same rights as whites¨ or that ¨we are not all equal¨.

I think that what they did was wrong and didn’t prove anything.

What happened at the capitol should not be a representation of how America deals with things. that was opportunists once again getting caught up in the media and forgetting that actions have consequences. Because it was on our own government, I believe it is domestic terrorism/rioting. I also believe that these were not only republicans, despite what some believe that Trump coordinated this attack, he simply told them to protest, not launch an attack. These people were extremists, and completely missed the message.

No matter if you’re republican, democrat, or part of a different party, destroying or stealing things is wrong and anyone should be able to see that. I am not gonna say what I believe in but I see that if one party does something similar the other shouldn’t be bashed for doing practically the same thing. Over the summer what went on? the BLM movement. What happened? people were killed, places were burnt down to the ground, and people all around the United states did not feel safe in their own homes. Now that compared to what happened last week seems a lot more brutal and scary to me. But yet trespassing and all that stuff is wrong too. Illegal even. I think now our country isn’t letting everyone be heard. This is why both parties are doing things to be seen. But like I’ve said if one party does something then look out because the other part is gonna end up doing something similar to it. But yes what the Republicans did wasn’t the greatest but what the Democrats did wasn’t better. Everyone wants to be seen.

The raid of the capitol seems to be an event taken out of a dystopian novel. It still feels almost unreal as if how could something this drastic and this big happen in real life. I don’t understand how people could think that this is an acceptable course of action, no matter what their opinions politically may be. I just want to know their reasoning behind what they did.

I am very concerned with the fact that Patriotism is one of the highest, this is definitely an act of terrorism and one of the biggest threats of a Cou’p that has appeared in America.

You can’t just walk into a private government building with bombs claiming that there was voter fraud because the leader of our nation got upset he didn’t win and went off telling people that “Something had to be done” and “a real american would do anything for our country”. He’s getting everyone riled up and allowing violence to quite literally enter our nations capitol.

No matter if you’re republican or a democrat, there is no exception to treason. What they did put congresspeople in danger, the vice president in danger and people who were just trying to do there job fairly and just. What kind of country are we? Will we be a country that strikes out on the government every time we don’t get our way? Or will we be a nation that will choose to love one another and learn to deal with life no matter who sits in office. The president isn’t the one who makes changes, we do, we were the ones capable enough to enter the capital which goes to show how capable we are to prevent another riot. It’s not just the president’s fault the nation is falling apart, IT’S US TOO, we need to admit our faults in places where we have failed to love one another, show peace, and give respect to everyone. Let’s take this horrible event and use it AS A LESSON, to grow and realize that there will never be peace, there will be more riots, more violence if we don’t learn to have self control and know that WE are of making peace and unity in America.

I think what happened on January 6, 2021, was tragic. I think people may have different points of views on this, I personally believe that this event had tremendously crossed the line. Even though this group of people came from a specific political party, we should not stereotype every single person underneath this party, because everyone has different motives and beliefs. Those who did have the intention of attacking the capital, were wrong. There is a reason we have a system, to ensure things like THIS, does not happen again.I think the people who entered the capital to ensue chaos in the first place, should have to deal with the consequence they put on themselves, which is whatever consequence is given to them by the law.

Republican or not, the events that occurred at the capital building showed signs of dictoral tendencies, pure hypocrisy, and the justification of Trumps intentions for our country. He is so self absorbed that he made a robocall to his followers in order to gain publicity and stop the votes from being recounted. the fact that he is a grown man and still chooses to act like a child is insane. He needs to accept his loss just as the democrats accepted theirs back in 2016. If you believe he has done any good for our country you must be mistaken. I am truly sorry for you if you think he was beneficial during these past four years. He has only brought division to this country. Donald Trump was NEVER my president.

It was an event that, if had it occurred in another country, the US would have intervened. By definition, these people are domestic terrorists and traitors.
