Wrestling: In the past week, wrestling has had 2 dual meets and a Varsity Tournament. They beat Marengo and lost to Jacobs on a large amount of forfeits. On the bright side, Travis Piotrowski won 1st, Charlie Popp placed third, losing the first match and then going on to win 5 in a row! Connor Boss took 5th and Luke Zegers took 6th. On Friday and Saturday they have 2 Dual Meets at Harvard and West Chicago. On January 3rd they face a hard rival in Crystal Lake South at home, so come cheer the boys on!

Varsity Girls Basketball: Over the last two weeks the girls have won two games. They beat Dundee Crown 41-30 and Marian Central 55-32. They have improved their record to 8-3 and look forward to playing in the Mundelein Holiday Tourney.

Freshman Girls Basketball:  The Freshman A team is riding a three game winning streak.  The team has been led in scoring recently by Haylee Giffels and Marissa Coakley.   The Freshmen B team continues to improve day by day and is developing a scoring threat coming from twin sisters Rachel Hurn and Sarah Hurn.  The duo has even picked up the nickname: “Team Hurn-icane.”  When one of the sisters has an assist and the other one scores, the team calls it “The Perfect Storm.”
