Lily Alcazar was nominated by faculty as a senior to know from this year’s graduating class.

Something that I will miss most about high school is the relationships that I have built with some of the teachers and the staff. They are some of the most genuine adults I know, who truly care about their students and are willing to put in the work if you reciprocate it. I’m glad to know that our relationships will go on past graduation and I can come back to visit or talk to them if I ever need to!

I am most proud that I was able to push past all my comfort levels and try things that I may never try again outside of PR. To start high school, I was involved in a couple of clubs and cheerleading. By senior year, I knew I had to make the most of my time. So, I enrolled in classes like Dramatic Literature that allowed me to get to know a sort of theater experience. I also became a football manager which allowed me the closer sideline experience than when I was a cheerleader. These new people I met and different experiences were some that I do not regret and will be proud to look back on and know that I made the right choice to get involved!

I hope to be remembered as the person you could go to whenever you needed something done. Being involved in so many extracurriculars allowed me to know about lots of activities happening around the school. I hope that I came across as outgoing, approachable, and determined to turn anyone’s wants into realities at PR.
